Ceramic Fiber Textiles
We offer a range of woven textile products including yarn, cloth, and ropes made from ceramic fiber materials. Textiles have excellent resistance to thermal shock, corrosive attack and breakdown due to mechanical vibration and stress. They also exhibit excellent chemical stability, resisting attacks from most corrosive agents. A broad selection of ceramic and low biopersistence fiber textiles, ropes, and braids used for high-temperature packing and gasketing applications.
With our Microporous high-performance insulating boards, we help to save space, weight and energy. Microporous materials are the preferred choice when a large temperature reduction is required within a limited space, or when strict heat loss or surface temperature requirements are specified.
Vacuum Formed Components
We offer a wide range of Ceramic Fiber Vacuum formed components and customized shapes designed to meet specific application requirements. It has excellent insulating properties while maintaining a low density when compared to insulating brick or monolithic refractory blocks and shapes. These products resist thermal shock allowing for faster cycle times. Unifrax’s vast forming and machining capabilities allow it to be made in a variety of shapes and can be tailor-made to customer required shapes and specifications. This material is also easily cut and formed using hand tools.
